The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have officially re-signed CB Ronde Barber to a one-year contract and restricted free agent T Demar Dotson to a two-year contract.

Barber started in all 16 games for the Tampa Bay in 2011, recording 77 tackles, five tackles for loss, three interceptions, 11 passes defensed, one sack, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble and his first career safety. He has spent his entire 15-year career with the team, starting every game for the Buccaneers since Week 10 of the 1999 season, the longest active starting streak in the NFL. Barber has 43 career interceptions and 27 career sacks, making him the only player in NFL history to have 40 or more interceptions and 25 or more sacks in a career.

This past season, Dotson played in 13 games with the Buccaneers and made his first two starts as a pro, both coming as a second tight end. He originally entered the NFL with Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2009. In his three seasons, Dotson has played in 22 career games with the two starts.
