The shuffling of the Buccaneers roster continued this week as Tampa Bay released WR Raymond Webber and DT John McCargo.
Webber was impressive in the early few days of the Bucs 2011 training camp but tore a hamstring that ended his rookie season before it had barely started.
McCargo, a former first round draft pick by the Buffalo Bills, was signed during training camp but released during the final cut downs just before the season opener against Detroit. As the 2011 season progressed, and injuries began taking their toll on the defense, McCargo was re-signed late in the year. McCargo played in four games for the Buccaneers in 2011, registering just five tackles.
Tuesday the Buccaneers announced the free agent signings of two offensive tackles, Northern Illinois’ Trevor Olson and Rocky Weaver who played collegiately at Central Michigan.
