So first I heard Davin has a season ending knee injury and that he has been placed on IR..then I heard hes not on IR and could miss 6-8 weeks...would love to know the TRUTH!!!

I had the binoculars on Penn the entire game while he was in. He looked good, but got tired midway in the 2nd quarter and couldn't quite push as hard as he was doing before and actually starting limping a little. I was surprised that they didn't take him out for a rest. The Defense took advantage of that weaknest because up to the play that Joseph got hurt the OL looked like they were in full control. It's bad luck what happened, but Coach should have pulled Penn ouit for a series. Just my opinion. I stayed for the whole game and my son and I follwed different players. We covered Penn and Dotson and both played good. On Defense we followed McCoy and Miller. Miller looked good and McCoy was awful and couldn't do much of anything. He was easily handled by one player and was never in the disruption area. When McCoy and Cayborn went out we we followed Wilson and Johnson and both of them looked better than who they were replacing and we got a lot more pressure on Brady. Wilson and Johnson can play this game.

If you really believe that it was Penn's fault then you need your head examined. If your stupid comment was correct then all of us on this planet would be at fault for everyone's misfortunes.

Donald Penn took the blame for this happeneing because it was his man who rolled up on the back of Dav's leg....far as i'm concerned...he' absolutely right..everybody knows it was his being overweight that kept him from practicing until this past week....a whole month for a calf injury please...maybe if he came into camp not being overweight, he'd have been out on the practice field sooner...which means he wouldn't have been so dam rusty to have allowed his blocking responsibility to roll up on the back leg of one of his "best friends"...yeah Penn...ur belly let everyone else down around you through out ALL of training camp...now ur sloppy play cost the season of a team mate...thanks...sure that'll help fill the stadium this year...Schiano should make him run laps until he throws up or passes out, and then cut him...overpaid fat!@#. Go Demar Dotson...looks like the light might have FINALLY turned on...GO BUCS!!!!!

As awful as it would be if Davin was out for the year the season hasn't even started yet. The next man has to step up and if there is any silver lining the offensive line has played well before when Joseph has missed a few games. They just have to find a way to play a lot longer without him. In the now famous words of Dick Vermeil, "We will rally around around Kurt Warner (er...Ted Larsen) and we will play good football".

I was following the game on the internet on espn news.It a shame that those players got hurt. I hope Penn will not blame himself for the injury. He has to look at all the factors. I hope Joseph will come back-So for McCoy and Clayborne-GO BUCS IT WAS A GREAT EFFORT FOR A PRE-SEASON GAME AND IF THIS IS ONLY THE ICING ON TOP OF THE CAKE. WHO SAYS TAMPA WILL FINISH 4TH IN THEIR CONFERENCE-GO BUCS. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR TAMPA TO COME BACK HARD THIS SEASON WITH THIS NEW COACH AND STAFF-OH GET RID OF PARKER HE STINKS.AGAIN GO BUCS

Fortunately McCoy and Clayborn looked fine on the sidelines....but Davin didn't look good. Depth is not good but tell me who would step in for Evans on the Saints line or Abraham on the Falcons line...none of us have depth, we just have to keep finding it every year where they do not....
