I've never seen Aqib play so poorly and he headlined a lot of people that didn't play well. The entire D-line played almost as bad. The calls by the refs were bad for both teams but that was a homer call at the end to overturn the completion by M. Williams. He made two steps to make the completion so at worst it should have been a fumble out of bounds. A lot to chat on but at the end of the day we only lost by one score to the defending SB champs on the road. Still a vast improvement over last year.

We really missed Biggers, Gaitor, Smith and Trueblood. Smith might have made a difference on special teams and we could have used Trueblood in the running game. Not to mention the corners might have prevented a 500yd day by Eli.
