Barron A Finalist For The Pepsi MAX Rookie Of The Week

Safety Mark Barron of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, wide receiver Josh Gordon of the Cleveland Browns, quarterback Robert Griffin III of the Washington Redskins, quarterback Ryan Tannehill of the Miami Dolphins and quarterback Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks are the finalists for Pepsi MAX Rookie Of The Week honors for games played on October 11-15, the NFL announced today.
 
Fans can vote for one of these five players on NFL.com beginning Tuesday at 9 A.M. ET and ending on Friday at 3 P.M. ET to determine the Pepsi MAX Rookie Of The Week. The winner will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.
 
After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi MAX NFL Rookie of the Year honors.  Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January.  The Pepsi MAX NFL Rookie of the Year will be announced at the second annual “NFL Honors” awards show in New Orleans on Saturday, February 2, the night before Super Bowl XLVII.
 
Below is a look at the finalists in Week 6.
 
Tampa Bay Buccaneers S Mark Barron led the team with eight tackles, two for a loss as well as recording his first career interception in the Buccaneers’ 38-10 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
 
Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon had three receptions for 99 yards, which included a 71-yard touchdown in the Browns’ 34-24 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. 

 Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III completed 17 of 22 passes for 182 yards and one touchdown along with rushing for 138 yards and two scores on the ground to help push the Redskins past the Minnesota Vikings 38-26.
 
 
Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill completed 21 of 29 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns as he helped lead the Dolphins to a victory over the St. Louis Rams 17-14.  

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 16 of 27 passes for 293 yards and three touchdowns in the Seahawks’ 24-23 victory over the New England Patriots.
