Eric Wright against the New York Giants in Week 2
According to FOX NFL Insider Jay Glazer, Eric Wright has tested positive for Adderall and is facing a four-game suspension. If the report is true, this will be the second Buccaneers CB who has tested positive for the banned substance as Aqib Talib admitted he was suspended for taking Adderall earlier this month.
According to FOX NFL Insider Jay Glazer, Buccaneers CB Eric Wright is facing a four-game suspension for allegedly using the banned substance Adderrall.
Glazer tweeted the breaking news early Sunday afternoon and PewterReport.com is trying to confirm the report.
If the report is true, the Bucs will be without both starting cornerbacks when they travel to Oakland next week to take on the Raiders. Aqib Talib has served three of a four-game suspension for testing positive for a performance enhancing substance which began with the Chiefs game on October 14th. Talib released a statement through the team that he had used Adderall at the beginning of training camp, although the league has a strict policy against naming which banned substance a player has tested positive for.
PewterReport.com will keep you posted with any updates on the Wright situation as more information is gathered.
