For just the second time this season, Buccaneers’ fans will be able to see a home game televised, when the Philadelphia Eagles come to Raymond James Stadium on Sunday.

The Buccaneers announced on Thursday that ticket sales have exceeded the 85 percent threshold and that the blackout has been lifted. The Eagles game joins the October 21 home game against the Saints as the only two games that have lifted the NFL-mandated black out rule which requires a certain number of tickets to be sold 72 hours prior to kickoff.

Part of what has driven ticket sales is the large contingent of transplanted Eagles fans that have moved to Florida from the Northeast. The biggest factor however, is the organization honoring the 2002 Super Bowl team. A large majority of that team – along with several members of the coaching staff – have confirmed they will be in Tampa to be introduced and honored at halftime.

Some of the confirmed coaches include, Head Coach Jon Gruden, Defensive Coordinator Monte Kiffin, Wide Receivers Coach Richard Mann, Quarterbacks Coach Stan Parrish, Tight Ends Coach Art Valero.

Some of the players who are scheduled to attend include Warren Sapp, Mike Alstott, Derrick Brooks, John Lynch, Keyshawn Johnson, Brad Johnson and wide receiver Joe Jurevicius.

The Buccaneers announced there are just a limited number of tickets still available, which mean the game not only exceeds the 85 percent threshold, but has a very good chance of completely selling out.
