What is the latest status on injured players? Who made the plays of the day during Monday's practice? Get the scoop in everything that took place in the last training camp practice before heading to New England.

Here is what you need to know about what happened at One Buccaneer Place on Monday, Aug. 12:

PRACTICE CONDITIONS
Practice began at 8:45 a.m. under clear, sunny skies and very hot and humid conditions with temperatures in the high 80's at One Buccaneer Place. The players were in shorts, which they had to appreciate as the heat became more intense as practice progressed.

BUCS INJURIES
・Majority of the players who have been battling injuries were out on the field with the team during drills. Aaron Morgan and Sean Baker started the day out on the exercise bikes.

・Offensive guards Carl Nicks and Davin Joseph saw some work today with the team. Nicks will see some playing time Friday night against the Patriots, but Joseph will not make the trip.

"Davin is going to stay back here and work,"Schiano said. "Davin is not going to come with us. That's by design. Right now he's in an area or strength is the biggest thing. He practiced a lot today but he's going to stay behind. Carl is going to come and if everything goes well Carl should take, not a lot, but some plays Friday night. We'll see if that comes off or not depending on how he is after practice."

・Running backs Peyton Hillis and Erik Lorig, safety Ahmad Black, defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, tight end Luke Stocker, and cornerbacks Danny Gorrer and Darrelle Revis all participated in some way.

・Kicker Lawrence Tynes, wide receiver Chris Owusu, and cornerback Danny Gorrer will not be flying with the team to New England.

・Wide receiver Mike Williams took a pass in the groin area during one-on-one drills against cornerback Johnthan Banks. Williams was down for a bit but appeared fine the rest of practice. Trainers never attended to him.

TAMPA BAY'S ROSTER MOVES
There were no moves announced today.

DEPTH CHART MOVES
Defensive end Da'Quan Bowers, who has seen a lot of work this camp, was on the sidelines for the start of 11-on-11 drills watching the first team. He would enter the session with the second team. Steven Means and Daniel Te'o-Nesheim saw a considerable amount of work in his absence with the first team.

・Tight end Luke Stocker was plugged in with the first team for a brief period. Tom Crabtree would later be seen with the first team.

・Running back Brian Leonard, who had a good showing this past Thursday against the Ravens, saw himself splitting time with Doug Martin with the first unit.

THE BIG NEWS AT ONE BUC PLACE
・NBC Sports Network's Scott Pioli was at One Buc today observing Buccaneers practice. He was seen talking to general manager Mark Dominik as Pioli is doing a segment for the network.

・The Bucs invited several kids clubs to One Buc Place today for their fifth annual "Lace It Up For Kids"program. Over 700 kids received brand new shoes provided to them by the team. The kids also got the opportunity to meet Buccaneers Cheerleaders as well as get their favorite player's autographs.

・Today was the last day of the 2013 Training Camp. The team flies to New England to practice with the Patriots this week as they head into their matchup Friday night.

BUCS PLAYS OF THE DAY
During the Bucs 7-on-7 drills, Josh Freeman connected with Vincent Jackson on a deep post that went for 50-plus yards. The pass was in stride and over the top of Dashon Goldson which would have been a touchdown in a regular game.

・Kicker Derek Dimke continues to make a name for himself as he nailed a 48-yard field goal with three seconds left to end the Bucs two-minute hurry-up portion of the practice. The attempt was good through the skinny posts and got a huge smile and pat on the helmet by head coach Greg Schiano.

QUOTE OF THE DAY
"I'll tell you this time of the year if nothing else, in the monotony of going against yourselves everyday, you know, there will be instantly a different energy and an opportunity to go against really good competition and not tackle to the ground so you know, Doug Martin can run the ball against really good defensive front, but not have to be slammed into the ground so we get seven eighths of a real play for Doug and that's just one example. To be able to go against that kind of speed and a different team for three days, that's all good.” - Head coach Greg Schiano on practicing with New England.

TAMPA BAY'S NEXT PRACTICE
・The Buccaneers will head immediately to New England following today's practice where they will spend the next few days in joint practices with the Patriots.

Why was McCoy a concern to be participating - did he get injured? Why is Owusu not going to NE - is he getting cut? So is the DE depth chart now Clayborn-Nesheim-Bowers-Morgan-Means-Gholston...or is there another order? What's the update on Ogletree?
