From the team's communications department: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that cornerback Danny Gorrer has been placed on Injured Reserve/Designated for Return and have re-signed defensive tackle Gary Gibson.

The team also announced the signing of wide receiver Skye Dawson (5-9, 183) to the practice squad and the release of offensive lineman Jace Daniels. Dawson played collegiately at TCU and entered the NFL this season as a college free agent with the Washington Redskins.

Somebody get word to Schiano that the shortest path to the QB in Atlanta, Matt Ryan, is over and through the RT. The Falcons signed Jeremy Trueblood at RT today. lol

That sucks about Gorrer. He has made strides since last year. At least we get him back mid-season. Man do I love that new IR/Designated for return tag! I agree that Gibson coming back is good. I don't know how it was going to work with only 3 DT's on the roster.

Pink, It's 5 DTs - McCoy, Landri, Spence, new guy Chris Jones, and now Gibson. I think that's right, if not somebody chime in and help me out!

Good to see Gibson back. He was the most surprising cut this past week - unfortunately, the Bucs might need him a lot this season.
