I agree 100% about the pre season. I said them not playing well in pre season mattered all along. As far as Freeman I didn't think he played that bad other than the one int. We could have had Tom Brady back there the way our O line played and he would not have looked good. We were going backwards every other play it seemed with penalties. No run game. Ogletree dropping big passes like he did in preseason. I won't even get started on coaching and play calling. Too many issues to name. Hope they get it together. Now if the line actually can pass protect, open holes for run, and not have 100 yards penalties and freeman throws a bunch of picks then I'll be ready to say he hasn't got it and move on.

So a QB who leads a drive late in the game to get us a go ahead score is a liability? You want to stand with that?

Absolutely. Our QB performed worse than a rookie. How many prolonged drives did our QB produce against one of the league's worst teams? PER ESPN he is the NFL's second worst rated QB in week #1. .............Josh Freeman.Passer rating: 67.9 QBR: 22.5 Sunday was the ninth time in 58 career starts that Freeman has completed fewer than half of his passes. All have been losses. Josh generated a 5 yr drive for TD, a 44-yd drive for TD, and a 61-yd drive for FG.

There were several posters on PR.com that warned everyone that there were problems with this QB and this team - but you pundits told us that preseason didn't mean anything. You cited the Falcon's W/L record during preseason frequently. Now I know who to rely upon for insight on the Buccaneers.
