The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have claimed safety Kelcie McCray off of waivers from the Miami Dolphins.
McCray (6-1, 205), is a second-year player who has played in four games with the Dolphins. McCray signed with Miami as a college free agent in 2012, and was placed on the Injured Reserve before the 2012 season. A native of Columbus, Ga., McCray played collegiately at Arkansas State, where he started 37-of-49 games, totaling 220 tackles, nine tackles for loss, 10 interceptions, one fumble recovery, two forced fumbles and 12 passes defensed.
