In Tampa Bay’s 27-24 overtime loss at Seattle, the Tru Beautè Med Spa Bucs MVP is running back Mike James. The rookie running back exploded for a career-high 158 yards on 28 carries (5.6 avg.) against a normally stout Seahawks defense with over 80 of those yards coming before halftime as the Bucs built a 21-7 lead.

James, who replaced the injured Doug Martin as Tampa Bay's feature back, ran for the most yards of any Bucs running back this season. Tampa Bay's sixth-round pick from Miami, Fla. also caught two passes for eight yards and also threw a touchdown pass. In the second quarter, James took the handoff from rookie quarterback Mike Glennon, jumped up in the air prior to reaching the line of scrimmage and tossed a 2-yard TD pass to tight end Tom Crabtree. The touchdown was the first of James' career and Crabtree's first as a Buccaneer.

For his efforts, James will receive a certificate for a complimentary one-hour massage at Tru Beautè Med Spa in Tampa.
