The Bucs were back at One Place on Wednesday still riding high from their first win of the season on Monday night. Get all that happened from inside the walls in this daily PewterReport.com feature.
Here is what you need to know about what happened at One Buc Place on Wednesday November 13:

PRACTICE CONDITIONS
• Tampa Bay began practice at 11:35 a.m. with gusty winds and much cooler weather greeting them as they walked onto the practice field. The overcast skies and cold front that came through overnight were a welcomed sight to most of the players on the team who have seen temperatures as high as the mid-90’s earlier in year, especially during training camp.

BUCS INJURIES
• Tampa Bay had some players nicked up in their 22-19 win over the Dolphins on Monday night according to head coach Greg Schiano.

“[Defensive end] Da'Quan Bowers, he has concussion-like symptoms so I don't know where we are right now for Sunday, we'll see,” Schiano said. “Some other guys that were limited but I think are going to be able to come back, but, again we played not too long ago.

ROSTER MOVES
• The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced on Wednesday that they have signed rookie running back Michael Hill from the Green Bay Packers’ practice squad.

Hill (5-10, 210) entered the league as a college free agent with San Diego this past offseason. He opened the season on the Chargers’ practice squad before being signed to the Packers’ active roster and playing in two games. He was placed on Green Bay’s practice squad on October 22.

A native of St. Joseph, Mo., Hill played collegiately at Missouri Western State and is the school’s all-time leading rusher, finishing his career with 828 carries for 4,969 yards and 35 touchdowns. He earned first-team Associated Press Little All-America and Daktronics All-America honors. As a senior Hill led the entire NCAA with 2,168 rushing yards.

The team also announced that running back Mike James has been placed on Injured Reserve. This season, James played in eight games with three starts, rushing 60 times for 285 yards (4.9 avg.) and catching 10 passes for 43 yards. James also threw a 2-yard touchdown pass at Seattle on November 3.

THE BIG NEWS AT ONE BUC
• QB Mike Glennon held his weekly press conference at the podium in the media center on Wednesday and said while getting his first fourth-quarter comeback was nice there was even a bigger accomplishment achieved on Monday night.

"I think more was just getting a win,” Glennon said. “I think that was the main thing that I took away from that. We did have a drive there at the end that put us in position to win that game. Really, that was a great job by the offensive line and the running backs. We kind said, that drive, we needed to establish the run game and go down the field, and they did a great job. Just more and more, as a rookie quarterback, the more you do, the more experiences you have of little things like that, there's a lot of firsts and I think it could be something that we benefit from and [I] personally benefit from, having gone through it. The more situations I get put in, the more experience I gain."

Offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan commented on something Glennon must improve on.

“We can't have any - we use the terms around here - blind or impulse throws,” Sullivan said. “Really, the most important thing we do, more than any run or pass or scheme, is protect the football and secure the football and us having that turnover was very, very costly and if I had a pick of a major learning point for him, is just to reinforce the fact that we can live to fight another day. If you have to throw it away or get down and roll up in a ball and take the sack, let's not throw anything blind because bad things, often times, happen. They certainly did two nights ago."

• Bucs’ Pro Bowl defensive tackle Gerald McCoy talked to the media in open locker room on Wednesday and said the win was a long time coming.

"It feels good to get a win,” McCoy said. “It does feel like a weight has been lifted. We're not relaxing, but we're not thinking about that anymore. Now we can just get back to focusing on the next opponent instead of thinking like, 'Oh my gosh, we've got to get a win this week.' We got whatever that burden was out of the way. You guys know me - I always say this is a privilege; I have fun with it regardless. But after getting a win, you get that feeling you've always been looking for. Now, it's kind of like, 'I need to keep feeling it,' so we're going to work even harder than we've been working to get the first win to get the second one and the third one and the fourth one."

McCoy also commented facing the Falcons for the second time this season.

"We haven't played the other two (Panthers, Saints again) yet,” McCoy said. “They're the first divisional opponent we're getting a second shot at. We owe them. We went down there, man, they got a win on us. We owe them. They're coming into our house, so we've got to get payback."

QUOTE OF THE DAY
“That's not his personality, he's not an outspoken guy. But, as of late, when he feels it's appropriate, he's spoken up. It's one of those deals, when you don't speak up much, once you do, everybody stops and listens and his word carries a lot of weight. You just love to coach a guy like that because he does everything right. In the meeting room, walk through, practice field - you see it all come out in game day and then off the field as well. Very involved in the community, does a lot of things; just a really good person." – Schiano on Lavonte taking on a leadership role

WHAT’S NEXT FOR TAMPA BAY
The Bucs will be back on the practice field at 11:35 a.m. on Thursday as they continue to prepare to host the Falcons on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.

David looked really down after the Jets game. Since then he's played as if being possessed. Mama always said, "Watch the quiet ones."
