For the third time this year, Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy is this week's Tru Beautè Med Spa Bucs MVP due to his solid play in Tampa Bay's 23-13 loss at St. Louis. McCoy had six tackles and recorded his ninth sack of the season, dropping quarterback Kellen Clemens for a loss in the second half. McCoy's nine sacks is a new career-high and enhances his chances of making a second-straight Pro Bowl. Tampa Bay's first-round pick in 2010 made the Pro Bowl last season after recording five sacks, which was his previous personal best.

McCoy's nine sacks are tied with Brad Culpepper for the fifth-most in a season by a Buccaneers defensive tackle. And although it was credited to defensive end Adrian Clayborn, McCoy actually forced a fumble when he tackled Clemens on a failed QB draw at the Tampa Bay 4-yard line in the first half, and was solid against the Rams' running game.

For his efforts, McCoy will receive a certificate for a complimentary one-hour massage at Tru Beautè Med Spa in Tampa.
