Tampa Bay Signs Big, Bruising FB Lane; Also Add FB/TE Baker
The Buccaneers signed former Texas A&M fullback Jorvorskie Lane on Tuesday, then shortly after signed former Jet Josh Baker. Lane, who weighs in excess of 250 pounds, set the Texas A&M record for rushing touchdowns with 49 scores in his collegiate career. Baker was waived by the Jets prior to last season.
   
Williams Will Have Charges Dropped Upon Program Completion
Bucs wide receiver Mike Williams will have a misdemeanor trespass and criminal mischief charge dropped upon completion of an intervention program. Hillsborough Circuit Judge Margaret Courtney agreed to allow Williams to enter the program last Thursday.
   
Martin Cleared To Return; Bucs Hopeful Nicks Is Next
The Buccaneers were decimated with injuries in 2013 but fans got some welcomed news this week when running back Doug Martin, who had shoulder surgery last season, tweeted he had been cleared to return to action. Is Carl Nicks next? GM Jason Licht says Tampa Bay is hopeful.

Agent Says Says Zuttah is Preparing To Be A Buccaneer
A report this weekend stated veteran Bucs offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah could be on the trade block after the signing of Packers center Evan Dietrich-Smith. But Zuttah's agent told PewterReport.com that all of the conversations with Tampa Bay have been positive and Zuttah is preparing to be a Buccaneer in the fall.
