Bucs Have Until Wednesday To Sign Bryant To Long-Term Deal
The Buccaneers have until Wednesday to sign franchised player Antonio Bryant to a long-term contract. Should a new deal for Bryant not be in place by the July 15 deadline, Bryant will play the 2009 season under the one-year tender he has already signed, which is worth $9.884 million.

Bryant Will Play Under Franchise Tag In 2009
Bucs WR Antonio Bryant will play under the franchise tag in 2009. That became official at 4:00 p.m. ET Wednesday, which was the mandated deadline for NFL teams to sign franchised players to long-term contracts. Bryant is scheduled to earn $9.884 million this year and become an unrestricted free agent in 2010.

Selmon To Be First Buc Inducted Into Ring Of Honor

Former Tampa Bay defensive end Lee Roy Selmon will be the first player inducted into the Buccaneers Ring of Honor this year. The team currently plans to induct one Buc each year, and Selmon, who was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995, will be the 2009 inductee.

   
Single Game Tickets Go On Sale July 31
Single game tickets for Tampa Bay's 2009 home games go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31. Tickets are limited to six per person. Tickets can be purchased through TicketMaster. In other news, Tampa Bay's first three days of training camp practices at One Buc Place are sold out.
