Reports: Gaines Adams Dead At 26
According to reports from various media outlets, former Buccaneer defensive end Gaines Adams has passed away. Adams was 26. Adams was in Greenwood, SC and was taken to the hospital Sunday morning and declared dead. Members of the Buccaneer organization commented on Adams sudden death.

Mann Gone, Bucs Looking For WRs, QBs Coaches
The Bucs have officially parted ways with WRs coach Richard Mann, whose contract was set to expire in February. The Bucs are looking for his replacement, in addition to looking for a QBs coach to work with Josh Freeman and allow Greg Olson to concentrate on calling plays and installing the game plan.

McCardell Wants Bucs WRs Coaching Job
Former Bucs WR Keenan McCardell caught two TDs for Tampa Bay in its Super Bowl XXXVII victory over Oakland in 2002. Now McCardell, who is coaching the West receivers in this year's East-West Shrine Game in Orlando, Fla., wants to catch on as the Bucs' new WRs coach and lobbied for the position.

Tampa Bay linebackers coach Joe Barry is a candidate to become the Tennessee Volunteers' new defensive coordinator, according to several published reports. Barry, who re-joined the Bucs last year after a two-year stint with Detroit, is under contract with the Bucs.

Barry Could Be Leaving Bucs
Raheem Morris revealed that he will be having discussions about LBs coach Joe Barry possibly leaving to become the Univ. of Tennessee defensive coordinator. Morris said that currently, only two assistant coaching spots are open – QBs and WRs. Univ. of Washington Doug Nussmeier is a candidate for the QBs coaching job.

Four Bucs Part Of NFL's All-Decade Team
Four Bucs were voted part of the NFL's All-Decade Team before kickoff at the Pro Bowl in Miami, Fla. on Sunday evening. Former Bucs HC Tony Dungy, LB Derrick Brooks and DT Warren Sapp were part of the All-Decade Team. Cornerback Ronde Barber, who was the fourth, is the only one that still is with the Bucs.
Report: Bucs Hire Van Pelt As QBs Coach
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will reportedly hire Alex Van Pelt as their new quarterbacks coach, according to ESPN. Van Pelt spent the past four seasons serving as a member of Buffalo's coaching staff. He played quarterback for the Bills from 1994-03.
