UPDATED: The Bucs received some bad news on the injury front regarding center Jeff Faine, who is expected to miss "several weeks" due to an injured triceps. The injury will not require surgery, but the Bucs are trying to find Faine's replacement. The Bucs signed long-time backup Sean Mahan, and DE Tim Crowder on Monday.
   
Bidwell On The Mend After Undergoing Hip Surgery
Tampa Bay punter Josh Bidwell underwent hip surgery nearly two weeks ago. He will be on crutches for six weeks, but said he'll be ready to punt again in 2010. In the meantime, Dirk Johnson is handling the punting duties for the Bucs.
   
Morris Explains Graham's Carries
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris said the reason for running back Earnest Graham not getting carries was because Graham told him to stick with Cadillac Williams because he was playing well. Morris said he wants to see that unselfish attitude spread around his team.
   
Morris Dares Critics To Question Bucs' Decision To Re-sign Clayton
Bucs coach Raheem Morris praised Michael Clayton's physical, five-catch, 93-yard performance against Dallas on Sunday, which featured a couple big plays, including a violent collision with Gerald Sensabaugh after a 20-yard catch across the middle that knocked the Dallas safety out of the game.
   
Bucs Add Two Cornerbacks To Practice Squad
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed two cornerbacks - Brandon Anderson and Derrick Roberson - to their eight-man practice squad Tuesday. Anderson and Roberson previously played for Cleveland and Houston, respectively.

Mahan Likely To Start In Place Of Faine
With Jeff Faine sidelined due to a triceps injury, Bucs offensive lineman Sean Mahan, who re-signed with the team Monday, likely will start vs. the Buffalo Bills Sunday, although rookie C Jonathan Compas is also in the mix. Mahan has started 52 career games since entering the league with Tampa Bay in 2003.

Bucs WR Antonio Bryant was held out of practice for the second straight day Friday with pain in his surgically repaired knee. Bryant is listed as doubtful on Tampa Bay's injury report. If he can't play, Bryant will be replaced by Sammie Stroughter, Brian Clark and Maurice Stovall in a committee approach.
   
Tampa Bay Stampeded By Buffalo, Lose 33-20
UPDATED: The Bucs fell behind the Bills 17-0 in the first quarter and went on to lose to Buffalo on Sunday, 33-20. The Bucs defense, which has given up 900 yards of offense over the past two weeks, allowed the Bills to rush for 218 yards. The Bills defense picked off Byron Leftwich twice and shut down the Bucs' running game.
