Bucs Cut Nugent, Sign Andrus
After starting off 0-4 on his field goal attempts, the Bucs replaced kicker Mike Nugent with Shane Andrus. Nugent, who was signed to a contract worth $2.4 million contract and won the kicking job from Matt Bryant, was 2-of-6 in Tampa Bay. Nugent missed two costly field goals in the Bucs' 16-13 loss at Washington.
T-Jack Is Back From Suspension
The Buccaneers defense will get a much-needed boost from the return of starting free safety Tanard Jackson, who served a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Jackson is excited to return to action after watching Tampa Bay's 0-4 start and is expected to play this Sunday at Philadelphia.
