Askew's Season Over
Buccaneers FB B.J. Askew's season came to an end Tuesday when the team placed him on the reserve/non-football injury (NFI) list. Askew, who sustained a back/neck injury in a car accident last week, will be replaced by RB Earnest Graham. In addition, the Bucs signed CB Marcus McCauley.

Stroughter Shrugs Off Winning NFC Special Teams POW Award
Rookie WR Sammie Stroughter wasn't too thrilled about winning the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award on Wednesday because while his 97-yard kickoff return for a TD helped rally Tampa Bay, the Bucs still fell to Carolina, 28-21, and are winless on the season.
Concussion Keeps Smith Out Of Practice
Bucs return specialist Clifton Smith was held out of Wednesday's practice with a concussion he sustained vs. the Panthers on Sunday. In other news, the Bucs added a player to their roster, Earnest Graham is comfortable as Tampa Bay's fullback, and the Bucs leave for London Friday.
