Happy New Year! The staff at PewterReport.com would like to thank the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans and Pewter Report subscribers for making 2009 a record year for traffic on our website. PewterReport.com experienced a 43 percent increase in traffic and welcomed over half a million Bucs fans to the site in 2009.
   
Bucs Lose To Falcons, Finish 3-13
UPDATED: The Buccaneers lost their 2009 regular season finale at home to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, 20-10. Bucs rookie QB Josh Freeman threw one TD and two INTs during Tampa Bay's loss. The Falcons rushed for 183 yards led by Jason Snellings 147 yards. The Bucs finish the season with a 3-13 record.

SS Phillips Arrested On Felony Battery Charge
UPDATED 1/11/10: Bucs SS Jermaine Phillips was arrested at 4:50 a.m. on Sunday and charged with domestic battery by strangulation, which is a felony. Phillips remains in a Hillsborough County jail and is being held without bond. The Bucs issued a statement Sunday night.
