Quarles Moving Up In Buccaneers' Front Office
Former Buccaneers linebacker Shelton Quarles is climbing the ladder in the Bucs front office. Quarles has taken on a lot of the responsibilties after director of pro personnel Doug Williams left the team. Quarles is in line to be elevated to coordinator of pro personnel and potentially the director later this year.

Bucs Announce Streamlined Public Training Camp Schedule
The Bucs have announced that they will be limiting the number of training camp practices that will be open to the public in 2010, but those practices will feature enhanced viewing, more photo and autograph sessions with the team. The Bucs will also have an open night practice at RJS along with a fireworks show on Aug. 7.

Bucs Sign DT Price To 4-Year Deal
The Buccaneers got another one of their rookies under contract with the signing of defensive tackle Brian Price to a four-year contract. The Bucs selected Price with their first pick in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft. To make room for Price, the Bucs released rookie guard Lee Grimes.
Bucs Pick Up Option In Freeman's Contract
PewterReport.com has learned that the Buccaneers have picked up an option in QB Josh Freeman's contract ensuring the contract lasts a full five seasons. Freeman has more guaranteed money as a result. If Tampa Bay had not exercised the option Freeman would have been a free agent after his fourth NFL season.
Carlson: Bucs Should Pay Penn
Pewter Report contributing writer and former Bucs QB Jeff Carlson weighs in on the situation with LT Donald Penn and the Buccaneers. Trueblood Arrested For Public Intoxication
UPDATE: Bucs right tackle Jeremy Trueblood was arrested for public intoxication in Greenfield, Indiana. Trueblood is from Indianapolis, Indiana and was released Wednesday morning. No charges were filed against him. Trueblood is entering his fifth NFL season and has started 61 straight games.
DE Moore Sees Youth, But Success In 2010
Buccaneers DE Kyle Moore had a nice offseason and is looking to earn a starting spot along the defensive line as the left end. He talks about the youth of the D-line, learning a new defense, first-rounder Gerald McCoy and much more.
