Schiano Hoping Meredith Can Play On Sunday
The Buccaneers practiced Thursday afternoon as they continue to prepare for their Sunday showdown with Carolina Panthers. Guard Jamon Meredith is questionable for Sunday's game and head coach Greg Schiano said the Bucs are hoping for the best but ready to move forward.
   
Kuechly Ready To Take On Tampa Bay
Leading up to and including the opening minutes of the 2012 draft, Luke Kuechly was one of the prospects that many people thought Tampa Bay would be interested in. Bucs Lose Black For The Season
The Buccaneers announced on Tuesday that linebacker Quincy Black, who was injured during Sunday's Chargers game, will be lost for the season. Black joins Davin Joseph, Adrian Clayborn and Carl Nicks on injured reserve.

The Buccaneers returned a blocked punt for a touchdown and scored on an 83-yard interception return to rally in the second half to beat the San Diego Chargers, 34-24, for the team's third straight win. Rookie cornerback Leonard Johnson picked off his third pass in as many games as Tampa Bay improves to 5-4 on the season.
