Bryant's Status Undetermined, Galloway Out
The Buccaneers might wait until Sunday to decide whether Matt Bryant will kick against the Packers. On Saturday, Matt and Melissa Bryant will attend the funeral of their youngest son, Tryson, who passed away on Wednesday morning.

Piscitelli, Others Held Out Of Practice
Bucs safety Sabby Piscitelli (elbow), fullback B.J. Askew (hamstring) and wide receiver Joey Galloway (foot) were held out of practice on Wednesday. Guard Davin Joseph (foot) did participate in the workout. Plus, Monte Kiffin comments on his son Lane's dismissal from Oakland.

Tampa Bay kicker Matt Bryant and linebacker Derrick Brooks were named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week and NFC Defensive Player of the Week, respectively on Wednesday. Bryant made three field goals and Brooks had one pick vs. Green Bay.
   
Askew Has Torn Hamstring
Buccaneers fullback B.J. Askew has a torn hamstring that will keep him out of game action for another 3-4 weeks. Askew incurred the injury in the game at Chicago in overtime. Taking Askew's place in the lineup is backup fullback Byron Storer.
   
"There Is No Quarterback Controversy"
Tampa Bay coach Jon Gruden addressed the reports that the Bucs are making moves at quarterback. Also after two practices leading up to their game against the Denver Broncos, the team is still unsure which injured players will be able to play in the contest. Bucs guard Davin Joseph appears closer to coming back.
   
Bucs Lose Griese And Game To Broncos, 16-13
UPDATED: The Bucs lost in Denver to the Broncos on Sunday, 16-13, and also lost starting QB Brian Griese to a shoulder injury. The Bucs offense didn't score a TD until late in the fourth quarter and the defensed failed to create a turnover. The Bucs are 3-2 on the season and host the 4-1 Carolina Panthers next Sunday.
