Bucs Interested In Trading For Raiders RB Bush
The Oakland Raiders are shopping running back Michael Bush, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are interested in trading for him. Bucs fans will remember Bush for his breakout game vs. Tampa Bay in Week 17 of the 2008 season when he rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns.
Bucs Trade For TE Winslow
The Bucs reportedly a second-round pick and a fifth-round pick for tight end Kellen Winslow on Friday. The 25-year old Winslow has battled through some injuries, but has also been one of the most productive tight ends in the NFL over the past three years. Winslow said the Bucs expect him to help provide leadership this year.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are targeting several positions in free agency, including cornerback. The Bucs have expressed interest in signing Bengals CB Jamar Fletcher and Bills CB Jabari Greer. The Bucs were in pursuit of Saints LB Jonathan Vilma on Friday as free agency opened, but in the end, Vilma chose to remain in New Orleans. Tampa Bay was hoping Vilma could fill an OLB role vacated by Derrick Brooks and Cato June, who were cut Wednesday.

Bucs Re-Sign Allen
On Saturday the Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed backup safety Will Allen. The special teams captain stays with the team that drafted him in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. After being a starter for the 2005 and 2006 seasons, Allen has been a reserve the past two years backing up Tanard Jackson.
Houshmandzadeh To Visit Buccaneers
Cincinnati Bengals free agent wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh is scheduled to visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, according to ESPN. Houshmandzadeh, 31, isn't the only receiver the Bucs are interested in signing.
Bucs Interested In CB Ivy
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have expressed interest in Baltimore Ravens free agent cornerback Corey Ivy, who played for the Bucs from 2001-04. Ivy, who has spent the last three seasons with the Ravens, may visit the Bucs soon.

The Buccaneers signed Broncos free agent linebacker Niko Koutouvides to a contract on Monday. The 6-foot-2, 238-pound Koutouvides was a player on Tampa Bay's radar last offseason before he signed with Denver.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed running back Derrick Ward on Monday night after Ward had visited with the Bucs during the day on Monday. According to ProFootballTalk.com, the contract is for four seasons worth a total of $17 million.

New Tampa Bay running back Derrick Ward spoke about becoming a Buccaneer on Tuesday. Ward says that the Bucs were his first choice, and he told his agent Drew Rosenhaus to get a deal done with Tampa Bay. Ward also said he is eager to play alongside new teammate Earnest Graham.
Bucs Sign K Nugent
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed New York Jets free agent kicker Mike Nugent on Wednesday. Nugent, 27, originally entered the NFL as a second-round pick in 2005. He has made 81.5 percent of his field goals and will compete with Bucs K Matt Bryant.
Stevens Still A Possibility For Bucs
Although they have three veteran tight ends on their roster, the Buccaneers still are open to the possibility of re-signing free agent TE Jerramy Stevens, according to general manager Mark Dominik. In other news, two free agents the Bucs were interested in signing have inked deals with the Saints.
Bucs Re-Sign WR Hankton
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed free agent wide receiver Cortez Hankton on Thursday, according to his agent, Harold Lewis. Hankton, 28, originally joined the Bucs as a free agent in 2008. He is the fourth player to re-sign with the Bucs this offseason.
Crowell To Visit Bucs On Monday
Buffalo Bills free agent linebacker Angelo Crowell is scheduled to visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday. Crowell, 27, has started 42 of the games he's played in for the Bills since entering the NFL as a third-round draft pick.
Bucs Re-Sign Stevens
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed tight end Jerramy Stevens. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The signing of Stevens comes just days after the Bucs traded a second-round pick to the Cleveland Browns for Kellen Winslow. Stevens has spent the past two seasons with the Buccaneers.

Hayes Stabbed By Girlfriend
Tampa Bay second-year linebacker Geno Hayes was reportedly stabbed in the neck by his girlfriend on Saturday. Hayes, 21, was hospitalized, but was released a few hours later. His girlfriend was arrested and faces aggravated battery charges.
