Morris Discusses Freeman's Red Zone Woes
Raheem Morris addressed rookie QB Josh Freeman's five-interception outing and poor red zone performance Monday. Morris said Freeman is more critical of himself than anybody. In other news, the Bucs will be cautious with return man Clifton Smith (concussion), and other news and notes.
   
Clifton Smith Placed On IR
Bucs return man Clifton Smith was placed on injured reserve Tueday. Smith suffered his second concussion of the season last Sunday against the Panthers. Taking his place on the roster is RB Kareem Huggins. Sammie Stroughter is likely to replace Smith as the returner. WR Yamon Figurs is another candidate.

Bucs head coach Raheem Morris has a problem with RT Jeremy Trueblood's personal foul penalties. Morris went as far as temporarily benching Trueblood in Carolina on Sunday. Trueblood doesn't have a problem with the discipline and said he must play with more controlled emotion.
   
Bucs WR Clayton Hopes To Play, Jets QB Sanchez Won't Start
Tampa Bay WR Michael Clayton (knee) missed Wednesday's practice, but hopes to play vs. the N.Y. Jets on Sunday. In other news, Jets rookie QB Mark Sanchez (knee) will not start vs. the Bucs. Fourth-year QB Kellen Clemens will start in his place.
   
Freeman Trying To Rebound
Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman says that he has learned a lot from his five-interception outing against the Panthers. Freeman will have to try and rebound against the New York Jets number one rated pass defense in the NFL. The rookie Freeman said the last game has been the biggest obstacle thus far in his first year.
   
Jets Ground Game Soaring
The Bucs are preparing for another potent rushing attack, this time from the New York Jets. Tampa Bay ranks 31st in the NFL defending the run, and the Jets have the number one ranked rushing offense. Plus, head coach Raheem Morris updates the team's injuries and the team is holding a 'Toys-For-Tots' drive this Sunday.

UPDATED: The Bucs lost to the New York Jets at Raymond James Stadium, 26-3. Bucs rookie QB Josh Freeman threw three INTs while the offense was flat and produced just 124 yards against the Jets' No. 2-ranked defense.
