Four Bucs Part Of NFL's All-Decade Team
Four Bucs were voted part of the NFL's All-Decade Team before kickoff at the Pro Bowl in Miami, Fla. on Sunday evening. Former Bucs HC Tony Dungy, LB Derrick Brooks and DT Warren Sapp were part of the All-Decade Team. Cornerback Ronde Barber, who was the fourth, is the only one that still is with the Bucs.
Report: Bucs Hire Van Pelt As QBs Coach
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will reportedly hire Alex Van Pelt as their new quarterbacks coach, according to ESPN. Van Pelt spent the past four seasons serving as a member of Buffalo's coaching staff. He played quarterback for the Bills from 1994-03.

Olson Talked To USC About Offensive Coordinator Position
Bucs offensive coordinator Greg Olson recently spoke to USC head coach Lane Kiffin and his father, Monte, about the Trojans' vacant offensive coordinator job, according to Rivals.com. Olson was promoted from QBs coach to offensive coordinator after the firing of Jeff Jagodzinski last September.
Bucs Hire Yarber As New Receivers Coach
UPDATED: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hired Eric Yarber to serve as their new wide receivers coach as first reported by Pewter Report. Yarber, who played wide receiver for the Redskins from 1986-87, has spent several years as a WRs coach, most recently with Arizona State. Tim Holt was hired to be an offensive assistant.

Saints Win Super Bowl XLIV

The New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV in Miami on Sunday, 31-17. New Orleans QB Drew Brees was named the Super Bowl's MVP after completing a Super Bowl record-tying 32 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns.

Why Haven't The Bucs Done Any Contract Extensions?
GM Mark Dominik says the Bucs won't be very active in free agency, and that players playing under one-year tenders are a result of the rules within the Collective Bargaining Agreement and that teams aren't punishing players. Dominik said the Bucs won't use the franchise or transition tags, and could be active in the trade market.

Sears Could Be Ready For Offseason Workouts

Buccaneers left guard Arron Sears has been working out at One Buc Place after missing all of the 2009 season. GM Mark Domink said the goal for Sears is to be in football shape in time for mandatory offseason workouts. This year, all workouts will be held after the draft in April.
