McCoy Is In For Double Trouble In 2010

Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, Tampa Bay’s first-round pick in 2010, will likely be prevented from having a huge year statistically speaking due to the high number of double-teams he’ll be occupied with during his rookie year. The double-teams won’t cease until another pass rusher emerges, either.
The Sam linebacker was once an after thought in Tampa Bay, but due to the athleticism and playmaking ability of Quincy Black, Bucs head coach and defensive coordinator Raheem Morris plans on featuring the position this year. Look for Black’s stats to rival those of Geno Hayes as he will star in the 4-3, 3-4 and 3-3-5 schemes.
