Yea, Mel Kiper just named Winston NFL Rookie of the Year. What a terrible thing to do to a player. He must have it in for him.
Damn shame about Adrian Clayborn. He looked so promising in his first year. But I guess two knee operations robbed him of what little burst he had.
Of course the brainiac Schiano had to move him to the left side to so he could play the Rutgers alum Teo Na Sham (sp) on the right side where he did nothing.
Now in Atlanta, Clayborn was moved to DT where he garnered two or three sacks at the position.
Dominick speculated he might get 10 to 12 sacks this year with Atlanta. Once an idiot, always an idiot.
The guy was a hard worker though and never quit. Just shows you though that sometimes you can’t overcome lack of talent with hard work in the NFL.

We had a few good rookie candidates this year. Especially compared to the past drafts that i can remember. The two offensive linemen and the line backer all i would have been happy with. Winston definetly should get the nod here but i just don’t want the play of our other great rookies to be over shadowed. Go bucs! Let’s get somebody to fix this D and let’s how we can get more td’s out of our offense this next year as we see most total yards doesn’t mean much! We need points! Go bucs!

When one wants to understand why the team struggles to build a talented roster he need to look no further than this list of former team rookies of the year who should now be in their prime as veterans with under 10 years in the league. Guys like Talib, Clayborn, Williams, Stroughter and Jackson now gone.

Winston, Kwon, David were three biggest bright spots this year.

I have a signed Freeman orange creamsickle jersey, and signed helmet by stupid La Garret Blount.Lol. Gave both away. I just buy lots of stuff at charity auctions and lots of the players turn out to be duds or get traded.

I call it the Curse of the Scubog Game Jersey. I opten purchase the player jersey only to have them get injured or have a short-lived Bucs career. I wish there was a way to replace the names. At least my # 22 is still valid. Last year Pewter Report had me worried that Martin was going to be replaced by Bobby Rainey. I still have my #43 Jerry Eckwood practice jersey.
