San Francisco 49ers free agent fullback Fred Beasley visited One Buccaneer Place Tuesday, according to The Tampa Tribune.

Beasley, 31, is entering his ninth season in the NFL. He’s considered one of the best blocking fullbacks in the league. The Bucs are attempting to find a replacement for FB Jameel Cook, who signed with the Houston Texans earlier in the offseason.

The 6-foot, 246-pound Beasley has played in 114 career games (80 starts). He’s carried the ball 183 times for 610 yards (3.3 avg.) and scored eight touchdowns during his eight-year career with the 49ers. Beasley also has hauled in 133 passes for 1,017 yards and five touchdowns.

The Bucs currently have four fullbacks – Mike Alstott, Rick Razzano, Carey Davis and Robert Douglas – on their offseason roster.
