Tampa Bay Buccaneers punter Josh Bidwell was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month on Thursday.

Bidwell averaged 45.6 yards per attempt and pinned five punts inside the 20-yard line during the month of November.

This is not the first award Bidwell, who currently ranks first in the league with a 46.6 average, has received this season. He was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after games against Green Bay and Miami.

Dating back to last season, Bidwell has a streak of 12 straight games with at least one punt of 50 or more yards.

In other news, three Bucs players – safety Will Allen (knee), linebacker Marquis Cooper (chest) and kicker Matt Bryant (hamstring) – did not practice Thursday for the second straight day. All three players remain questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the New Orleans Saints.

“They’re still questionable,” Bucs head coach Jon Gruden said. “They’re making improvement but I don’t have any update.”

Tight end Anthony Becht (knee) was upgraded to probable and participated in Thursday’s workout at One Buc Place.
