The Tampa Bay Buccaneers promoted rookie fullback Rick Razzano from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on Wednesday.
Razzano, who entered the NFL in April as a seventh-round draft pick out of Ole Miss, has played in one regular season game and split time between the practice squad and active roster.
In order to make room for Razzano on the active roster, the Buccaneers released second-year tight end Nate Lawrie.
