LAST WEEK: The Buffalo Bills downed the visiting Houston Texans last Sunday, 22-7. Bills quarterback J.P. Losman completed 17-of-28 passes for 170 yards and tossed one touchdown. Running back Willis McGahee rushed 22 times for 117 yards. Kicker Ryan Lindell was perfect on field goals, drilling 5-of-5 field goal attempts. Defensive end Aaron Schobel notched two sacks, and the Bills defense only allowed Texans QB David Carr to complete 9-of-21 passes for 70 yards and three interceptions.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went on the road last Sunday and defeated the Minnesota Vikings, 24-13. Bucs rookie running back Cadillac Williams rushed for 148 yards and one touchdown on 27 carries. Wide receiver Joey Galloway hauled in five passes for 97 yards. Tampa Bay’s defense created five turnovers, including two interceptions recorded by cornerback Brian Kelly.
THE LAST TIME THESE TEAMS MET: Tampa Bay and Buffalo last clashed during the 2000 regular season. The Buccaneers defeated the visiting Bills in that contest, 31-17.
