The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that they are bringing back wide receiver Eric Page, signing him to the practice squad Monday morning.
To make room for the addition, Tampa Bay released rookie tight end Taylor Sloat from the practice squad.
Page spent the 2013 season with Tampa Bay, recording four receptions for 68 yards and two rushes for 14 yards, while serving as the team’s primary returner, with 23 punt returns for 251 yards and 22 kick returns for 548 yards. He was also with the Buccaneers during the 2014 offseason and preseason.
Tampa Bay cut ties with Page in late August and eventually handed return duties off to rookie Solomon Patton.
Sloat entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of UC-Davis and landed on the Bucs’ practice squad Oct. 1.
