The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have signed linebacker Orie Lemon, and signed cornerback Isaiah Frey, defensive tackle Derrick Lott and linebacker Julian Stanford to the practice squad.
Lemon (6-1, 242) and Frey (6-0, 190) each spent this past offseason and preseason with the Buccaneers and both played for the team in 2014. Lemon will wear No. 45 for Tampa Bay and Frey will wear No. 32.
Lott (6-4, 314), entered the league as a college free agent with the Tennessee Titans this offseason. Lott spent three seasons at Tennessee-Chattanooga (2011-14), after transferring from Georgia, where he played in five games. At Tennessee-Chattanooga, Lott played in 29 games, with 14 starts, totaling 114 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 8.0 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. As a sixth-year senior in 2014, the Kennesaw, Georgia, native was named first-team All-Southern Conference.
Stanford (6-1, 230) joins the Buccaneers after having spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the Detroit Lions. Prior to his time with Detroit, Stanford spent one season with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2012). In his NFL career, the Wagner product has played in 34 regular season games, with six starts, recording 17 tackles, one tackle for loss, one fumble recovery and 11 special teams tackles.
Lott will wear No. 75 and Stanford will wear No. 59 for Tampa Bay.
