The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were still unclear as to who will start at quarterback Sunday after Friday’s practice, and they’ll likely be just as unclear when their plane lands in Arizona on Friday evening.
Bucs quarterback Brian Griese, who is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game with a foot injury, took some more reps during Friday’s workout, but there’s still a chance that second-year QB Chris Simms will start in his place.
Bucs head coach Jon Gruden will likely make that decision a few hours before the Bucs-Cardinals game, which kicks off at 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday.
In other injury news, Bucs tight end/long snapper Dave Moore suffered a hamstring injury during Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Arizona.
Should Moore be held out of that contest, TE Ken Dilger or guard Jeb Terry will be candidates to take over the long-snapping duties.
