The Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed Kansas City Chiefs tight end/long snapper Adam Johnson off waivers Wednesday, according to NFL Network.

The 6-foot-5, 213-pound Johnson, 27, spent the 2006 season with the Chiefs after entering the NFL out of Buffalo.

The Bucs are in search of a long snapper for their 53-man roster as Dave Moore, who is an unrestricted free agent, could retire this offseason.
