The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were quite busy Tuesday.

In addition to promoting wide receiver Chad Lucas from the practice squad to the active roster and signing WR Derrick Hamilton to their practice squad, the Buccaneers released fullback Zack Crockett and signed FB Byron Storer to their 53-man roster.

Crockett, 34, was signed by the Bucs on Oct. 10 just two days after they lost RB Michael Pittman for several weeks to an ankle sprain. He played in two games for Tampa Bay.

Storer (6-1, 219) originally entered the NFL with the Bucs in 2007 as an undrafted free agent out of California. He spent the offseason, training camp and preseason with the Bucs before he was released in September. Storer spent several weeks on Tampa Bay's practice squad before being released a few weeks ago.
