Last Week: The Atlanta Falcons fell at home to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday, 33-25. Packers QB Brett Favre completed 26-of-39 passes for 252 yards and tossed one touchdown and one interception. Green Bay WR Donald Driver caught 10 passes for 114 yards while rookie RB Sam Gado rushed 25 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns. The Packers defense sacked Falcons QB Michael Vick three times and forced three fumbles, one of which was recovered by Green Bay. Vick completed 20-of-30 passes for 209 yards and tossed two touchdowns while rushing seven times for 24 yards and a touchdown. Falcons RB Warrick Dunn carried the ball 17 times for 76 yards and hauled in six passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the visiting Washington Redskins in thrilling fashion, 36-35. Bucs QB Chris Simms completed 15-of-29 passes for 279 yards and tossed three touchdowns and no interceptions. He wasn’t sacked, either. Fullback Mike Alstott scored two touchdowns and scored on the two-point conversion that won the game for the Bucs. Tampa Bay WR Joey Galloway hauled in seven passes for 131 yards and scored a touchdown while WRs Edell Shepherd and Ike Hilliard each caught a touchdown pass. Bucs DE Simeon Rice recorded two sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception en route to his team’s win over the ‘Skins. Injury Report:
Bucs: RB Michael Pittman (shoulder) is probable. DE Greg Spires (shoulder), WR Michael Clayton (bone bruise) and S Dexter Jackson (hamstring) are questionable. S Will Allen (knee) is doubtful.

Falcons: FB Fred McCreary (shoulder), G Kynan Forney (ankle), S Keion Carpenter (illness), S Kevin McCaden (chest), WR Michael Jenkins (ankle) and WR Roddy White (hip) are probable. DE Brady Smith (toe), DT Chad Lavalais (foot) and T Todd Weiner (elbow) are questionable.

The Last Time These Two Teams Met: Tampa Bay and Atlanta last clashed in December of the 2004 regular season. The Bucs defended their home turf by defeating the Falcons in convincing fashion, 27-0.

Bucs-Falcons Series: Tampa Bay is 13-10 all-time in the regular season vs. the Atlanta Falcons. The Bucs are 5-5 on the road vs. the Falcons.
