Nearly a week after the Buccaneers hired new director of player personnel John Spytek, the team made a few more adjustments to their front office. Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times first reported the promotions of Shane Scannell and Brian McLaughlin as well as the addition of Antwon Murray.

Scannell, who joined the Bucs last year as a scouting assistant, will now serve as a pro scout. The former Wesleyan offensive lineman replaces Zack Grossi, who was promoted to the assistant to the head coach on Dirk Koetter’s staff.
Taking Scannell’s place as a scouting assistant will be McLaughlin, who was formally an operations assistant. Before joining the Bucs, McLaughlin worked as a recruiting coordinator in Florida International’s football office.
And Murray, who played cornerback at Boise State and was working there as a director of recruiting, becomes the Bucs’ newest addition to the front office. Murray, a former teammate of Doug Martin’s on the Broncos, also joins Tampa Bay as a scouting assistant.
With the additions of McLaughlin and Murray, the Bucs now have three scouting assistants in their front office.
