The Cowboys are riding a six game losing streak, but don’t suggest to Lovie Smith that they’re more desperate for a win than his 3-5 club.

“[You] would be hard-pressed to find someone in our locker room who doesn’t feel like this is a must-win game,” Smith said after practice Friday. “That’s how we’re looking at it.”
The self-proclaimed “America’s Team” has hogged national attention more than usual in recent weeks, and not for good reason. From the domestic abuse scandal involving Greg Hardy to Dez Bryant lashing out at a reporter earlier this week, Dallas’ losing streak has been put on the back-burner somewhat as the Cowboys head into Raymond James Stadium.
Still, there hasn’t been a loss of focus within the walls of One Buccaneer Place.
“What’s going on at their place, we don’t really … we have our own work cut out for us,” Smith said. “Just figuring out what we’re going to do, how we’re going to do it and doing things better. This is a game that we have to have. It’s as simple as that.”
