LAST YEAR: The Jacksonville Jaguars compiled a 12-4 regular season record en route to finishing in second place in the AFC South division. The Jaguars were eliminated by the New England Patriots in the first round of the playoffs.

The Bucs produced an 11-5 record and won the NFC South division en route to making the playoffs in 2005. The Bucs lost their Wild Card playoff game to the Washington Redskins, 17-10.

THE LAST TIME THESE TEAMS MET:
Tampa Bay and Jacksonville last clashed on August 20, 2005 in Tampa. The Jaguars defeated the Buccaneers in that preseason contest, 20-17.
