The Jacksonville Jaguars lost to their other in-state rival, the Dolphins, in Miami last weekend, 19-14.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defended their home turf by defeating the New England Patriots in Raymond James Stadium on Sunday night, 27-10.

The Buccaneers and Jaguars last met on Oct. 28, 2007 at Raymond James Stadium. Jacksonville escaped Ray-Jay with a 24-23 victory over the Buccaneers. Bucs QB Jeff Garcia threw three of his four interceptions vs. the Jags, who at one point had a 17-3 lead over the Bucs. Tampa Bay and Jacksonville also met in the 2007 preseason. The Jaguars defended their home turf by sending the Bucs home with a 31-19 loss in that game.

BUCS-JAGUARS SERIES: The Buccaneers are 2-4 all-time in the preseason vs. the Jaguars. Tampa Bay has compiled a 1-1 preseason record at home vs. Jacksonville.
