The Buccaneers signed 29 players to tryout contracts for their three-day rookie mini-camp.

Two of them – cornerback Chaz Williams and guard Anthony Wollschlager – performed well enough to earn spots on Tampa Bay’s offseason roster.

The Bucs signed Williams (Louisiana-Monroe) and Wollschlager (Miami) to contracts on Tuesday. In addition, the team re-signed restricted free agent guard Jeb Terry.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

In order to make room for those three players on their offseason roster, the Bucs released fullback Mike McFadden, center Jed Prisby and wide receiver Levon Thomas.

Terry has played in 30 career games and has one career start since entering the NFL as a fifth-round selection in the 2004 NFL Draft.

Williams and Wollschlager both entered the NFL as undrafted free agents.
