The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced on Tuesday that safety John Lowdermilk has been placed on the Reserve/Retired List.

Lowdermilk (6-1, 210) came to Tampa Bay from Minnesota, after signing with the Vikings following the 2015 season. A native of Edina, Minnesota, Lowdermilk played collegiately at Iowa and entered the NFL as a college free agent in 2015, spending the offseason and preseason with the San Diego Chargers, before being signed to Minnesota’s practice squad later that year.
