Bucs G.M. Mark Dominik was asked if the team is considering bringing in any veteran receivers with wide receiver Antonio Bryant sidelined due to successful knee surgery and Michael Clayton being hampered with a hamstring injury. Several veterans are available in free agency, including Plaxico Burress and Marvin Harrison.

“We’ve talked about it,” said Dominik. “We wanted to see how today’s practices go and see how we get through them. I think the morning practice went well. If we have seven or eight good bodies for the game that will be fine, and it gives those guys an opportunity.”

Pewter Report believes that the Bucs will forego signing another vet and stick with the young players on its current roster unless another receiver gets injured.
