The Tampa Bay Buccaneers promoted second-year cornerback Kyle Arrington from the practice squad to the 53-man roster Thursday.
In order to make room for Arrington on the active roster, the Bucs released CB William Middleton, who was claimed off waivers by the Bucs on Sept. 6.
Arrington orginally joined the NFL in 2008 as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles. He spent the majority of the 2008 season on Tampa Bay's practice squad. Arrington was released by the Bucs on Sept. 5, but re-signed to Tampa Bay's eight-man practice squad one day later.
