From the Buccaneers communications department:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced on Sunday that the team has promoted linebacker Cameron Lynch from the practice squad to the active roster.

Lynch (6-0, 229) was signed to Tampa Bay’s practice squad on September 3. The Lawrenceville, Georgia native originally entered the league with the Rams as a college free agent in 2015. Last season, he played in all 16 games for the team, recording four special teams tackles. Lynch, who played collegiately at Syracuse, spent this past offseason and preseason with the Rams, before being waived on September 3. He wears No. 52 for the Buccaneers.

The team also announced that wide receiver Jeremy Butler has been waived.
