Tampa Bay recently restructured wide receiver Joey Galloway’s contract.
Galloway, whose contract ran through the 2009 season, signed a new, three-year, $7.5 million deal that includes $3.1 million worth of guaranteed money, according to NFL.com.
The 35-year-old Galloway was scheduled to have a base salary of $1.283 million and receive a $1.2 million roster bonus in 2007. His new deal calls for him to earn a base salary of $1.2 million with a $1.8 million roster bonus and $100,000 workout incentive this year.
The 5-foot-11, 197-pound Galloway is scheduled to earn $1.767 million and $2 million in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
Last season, Galloway caught a team-leading 62 passes for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns.
Galloway has caught 612 career passes for 9,558 yards (15.6 avg.) and 71 touchdowns since entering the NFL in 1995 as a first-round pick with the Seattle Seahawks.
