Tampa Bay will open camp this week with 23 rookies vying for roster spots. Leading the pack are the team’s seven draft picks: CB Vernon Hargreaves (first round), DE Noah Spence (second round), K Roberto Aguayo (second round), DB Ryan Smith (fourth round), OL Caleb Benenoch (fifth round), Devante Bond (sixth round) and FB/TE Dan Vitale (seventh round).
The other 16 first-year hopefuls are in Tampa Bay as undrafted free agents. There are three offensive linemen (Taylor Fallin, Kelby Johnson, Leonard Wester), three linebackers (Micah Awe, Cassanova McKinzy, Luke Rhodes), two running backs (Peyton Barber, Russell Hansbrough), two tight ends (Kivon Cartwright, Alan Cross), two defensive tackles (Travis Britz, DaVonte Lambert), two safeties (Isaiah Johnson, Elijah Shumate), one defensive end (Channing Ward) and one cornerback (Javien Elliott).
Practice officially gets underway Thursday morning and the first two days are closed to the general public. The team will host Kids Day on Thursday and Military Appreciation Day on Friday, however.
Fans can get an up-close look at the 2016 Buccaneers this weekend. Saturday and Sunday are the first two of 11 open sessions and both begin at 8:45 a.m.

That would be cool. It wouldn’t be surprising either.
Funny, I was wondering the exact same thing.
